Parts of a plant

 Plants, as animals, have different parts with different functions:

1. Roots: The roots hold the plant in the ground. They absorb water and minerals.
2. Stem: The stem gives the plant support. Water and minerals are transported through it.
3. Leaves: In the leaves, plants make their food with the help of sunlight.
4. Flower: The flower contains the plant’s reproductive organs.
5. Fruit: Protect the seeds.
6. Seeds:They germinate and develop into new plants.
